Worcestershire LEP Annual Conference 2017
Relationship Manager, Titania
Victoria’s hard work didn’t go unnoticed as she was quickly promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager after just 2 years, became editor for a well-respected insurance magazine and supported an award-winning claims handling team. By gaining huge contracts with the likes of Lloyd’s of London and Ageas, the company doubled its workforce, creating more jobs in Worcester including apprenticeships. Victoria went on to win a number of awards and was fortunate to be invited to breakfast with CEO of Lloyd’s, Ingla Beale.
In her search for a new challenge, Victoria joined Cyber Security company, Titania, earlier this year as a Relationship Manager for the Finance, Education and Healthcare sectors across the world.
“I do not regret going to university but for me an apprenticeship was the perfect fit. I am incredibly grateful for the support of TDM Wyre Academy throughout my studies and my roller-coaster journey. I am even more grateful that an employer gave me the opportunity as I have achieved things I didn’t even think I was capable of.”
Victoria Rawlings, 2017
After completing her A Levels in PE, Art and ICT at Evesham High School, Victoria enrolled on a Sports Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage university course at UWIC. After her second year of studies, Victoria came to the decision that university was not the right choice.
That, in combination with the part time job she really enjoyed in Sales and Promotions, led Victoria to search for alternative options that would still satisfy her keen interest in continuing education and, through Worcestershire Apprenticeships, enrolled on a Level 3 Social Media Marketing apprenticeship for a claims management company in Worcester and studied the course with TDM Wyre Academy.
